IS IT TRUE THAT BRUCE LEE INVENTED THE IDEA TO USE GLOVES AND SPARRING PADS AND EQUIPMENT?

Answer:

You're wasting your time. When you rent you should expect usually for them to keep the deposit for wear and tear. My landlord kept all but $44 of our $1,200 deposit. Mostly due to the neighbors having a toilet overflow which rusted our bathroom ceilings, and because we wore out the couch and they had to buy new cushions. There were about 20 other things that we weren't responsible for either but its NOT worth it to sue them. Landlords have it tough enough already, good luck finding another apartment for a decent rate with suing a landlord on your record.
If you have nothing in writing to back up your claims that the landlord said everything was perfect, you have no case. If all you're trying to get back is $250, it's not worth it to sue. Court costs would be MORE than what you think you're entitled to and you can't sue for double damages if you have no proof.
Good for you. You have crossed all your T's and dotted all of your I's so bravo. Now, take all that evidence to small claims court. I'm not sure about the double damages but if you win (which i am sure you will with all the proof you have) then you will get the 250.00 + court costs. Don't let this go because you deserve the right be treated better.
If you want the best of both worlds, a cyclocross bike is the answer. You get the speed from a road bike but with the ability to travel cross country on it. Road bikes for this type of weather are out of the question really, but if you are not too bothered about speed, a proper mountain bike would be best for that kind of weather.
For next time, do not accept a verbal agreement that the apratment is perfect get it in writing!! Best of Luck!
