Question:

Is it true that you shouldn't put ACIDIC things in foil and bake them, and WHY?

They say acid in lemons quot;reactsquot; with the metal of the foil, but what does that mean.and what would it do to say, fish???

Answer:

The concern is a chemical reaction that causes leeching of the metal but this is more common with pots and pans that are made of copper, aluminium or cast ironFish in foil should be no problem at all.
