Question:

Is my fear of our house catching on fire getting a bit irrational?

We do have a newer kind of house, so I think that lowers it's risk and we are always very clean and turn off the computer and everything at night. But our house catching on fire is one of my biggest fears.I keep things that are very important to me on my desk near my bed, and before I try going to sleep it always crosses my mind. I can't stand the fact that we'd lose everything if our house went down.I'd be more okay with it if we had a fire safe, and a fire extinguisher, but we don't.Is my fear getting a bit out of hand?

Answer:

Let her know that you're there if they need anywhere to stay. Give her clothes/books/silverware/whatever that you have that could work for her. Get people together and do a fundraising to help get them back on their feet. Just be there for her.
Yes, schools in bad areas, or schools that have had problems in the past, maybe like Columbine. Also, *** is considered a curse, but it is a mild one, and can be said on TV, in movies, and in books. However (go figure) you cannot say up your *** on TV. That's a curse. Jackass, dumbass, kickass, etc. are not capable of being censored.
Depends on how good your driving skill and how good your parts of car.
Try to come up with some things they may need. Clothing Blankets You could also make them a basket of Shampoos, Soaps, Hairbrush, Deodorant etc. basically anything for grooming and bathing you could even through in a towel You could also invite them over for a nice hot meal they probably love that. Get them a nice Kitchen Gift for when they do get a new house. Make copys of any pictures you may have make an album for them. I Hope this helpsGod Bless them I hope all works out for them!!
youve mentioned that they lost everything.. you can donate money to your friend thats the least you can do.
