i have been looking for scopes all day and i just came across the Barska Excavator and it is within my budget and from what i have read it is a pretty good scope. i am looking to mount it to my Marlin .270, is this a good scope and will it hold a zero?
Barska = Junk ! No more needs to be said.
I'd do as the other answerer said and pay just a tiny bit more to get a Nikon, or other quality brand. Barska is a third rate scope manufacturer.
Let's look at this a different way. Barska Excavator . What does one do with an excavator? You dig holes in the ground with an excavator... right? This is hilarious... I think the company is trying to tell you something. Excavator.... dig a hole and bury this turkey.... or it's most useful attribute is that it can be used as a shovel. Would you buy a chair called the LaZBoy? hemorrhoid?
It may or may not work.......but, a Nikon or Leupold is not that expensive and you will thank yourself. A lower end Nikon is only 139.00.z
