Which would be more robust in an application where a tube is getting banged around? 1.5x1.5 0.125 inch wall thickness 6061 T6 aluminum tube, or 1.5x1.5 0.049 inch wall thickness 4130 chro-moly steel? I calculate about the same stiffness and weight, so I'm curious which one would be more likely to get dented by local damage.
Don't ever let a cat play with yarnOnce it gets in their mouth and gets caught on the tongue, they cannot spit it out and must swallow itThis can cause a bowel obstruction, which can be fatal.
Hi Amanda, I don't recommend yarn mainly because even if you are standing there and she's playing with it, she can still get it down her throatThis can cause strangulation in an instantPlus, yarn has a lot of chemicals in its processingConsider aluminum foil balls or little solid plastic cat toys instead.
the yarn itself will not hurt your catthere are no chemicals or anything that can be harmful and she most likely wont be able to tangle herself in it if the piece is not too longthe only thing i would watch for is that your cat doesnt actually try to eat itshe may try to chew on it and swallow it so i would recommend watching her but it should be fine as long as she doesnt eat it!
NeitherThe amount of banging around to which you are going to subject them is far greater than either will stand without permanent damage
