Question:

Is this a good fishing combo or not?

Is this a good fishing combo or not?

Answer:

Well, it mainly depends on where you get the snake and what kind of snake it is. My sister got her snake from petland, and it has never bit her or anyone for that matter. She got a milksnake, which looks like a king snake, but it is not poisonous because it is red and black, a friend of jack.
i have found that the most common first time snake is a ball python (at least to my knowledge) however having owned them before i have been struck many times, of course having been mistaken for food but none the less i have scars to prove it! my newest baby is a Columbian Red-Tailed Boa and she is the sweetest thing, i have never been struck and she is just generally clam. she grows slower and is a very pleasant creature i will never have a ball python again, i swear by reds!

Actually, everything alive with mouths can bite, just like dogs, humans, monkeys etc. But u can learn when your snake is not happy with what u're doing (just like dogs, cats and so on) Mostly some ppl did some mistakes in the past by not washing hands after working with mice, hamsters, dogs, cats and any other animals especially mice (rodent kinds) and lizard. If u dont wash your hand after working with those animals, and u handle a snake afterwards, dont blame the snake if it bites ya. Snakes arent simply as clever as dogs who can remember its owner. What they do is simply smell and use its heat detector. So if u have the heat (of coz u do) and u smell like mice, then u're the mouse in snakes' mind (simple as that). So please dont forget that ^^ Yes, some types of snakes bite more than the other. The arboreal (live on trees) snakes are more aggressive than many other terrestial types so obviously they're not for beginners. U may choose one of these snakes for your 1st one: 1. Kingsnake 2. Milksnake 3. Cornsnake 4. Ball python (many ppl complain that they have feeding problem) Kingsnake, milksnake, cornsnake usually dont have feeding problems so thats nice ^^ Some ppl prolly can add that list with red-tail boa, it's docile too, but it gets pretty big (10 ft) and thats gonna be a problem if u dont prepare ^^ Hope this helps ^^
