I have a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee, that so far has given me very few issues. Today the driver's side door's lock (attached by 3 star bolts) broke off and the door is now unable to lock properly. I had to drive home from the grocery store holding the door close. The lock is completely separated from the door but it remains inside the door frame. Is there any way to repair this without purchasing another door?
Most of the other advice won't help. But you can try skyping or emailing a friend/ emailing the police (be careful, they might think it is a prank) Try making as much noise as possible (playing loud music, moving furniture so that people will complain, then you can ask them to help you. Remember, stay calm!! Hope this helps

The red wire will set off the other alarms if only one detects smoke. For this to work properly the alarms have to be wired with 14/3 with ground. This means the main wiring has to have a white, black and red wire supplying 120 volts. You may only have 14/2 with ground for your wiring. All alarms should go off when one is triggered. I hope this helps. Regards, Dale
