Question:

Mac Book camera light is on without me turning on iChat or Photo Booth. Is someone watching me?

The green light on my Mac Book camera is on and I just turned it on. iChat and Photo Booth were both off. When I opened Photo Booth (to see if the tissue was really covering it) it was black. Does this mean someone is watching me? And how do I know/ turn it off? Thank you!

Answer:

Great Question mate 1) No commentary This is a trick one, because in quite periods of the game, the commentory is the only thing that can keep you awake lol. BUT i think i could watch a game without commentaory, i mean most of the time, they yap on about things nothing to do with cricket anyway 2) All the colour uniforms in ODIs and T2Os will be banned.Only white uniforms for all the players I don't realy mind if they just play in white tbh, although this would spell the end to day/night cricket, which would be a bad thing. Anyway the coloured uniforms don't excite me too much, most look like overgrow PJ's 3) Camera view would be reversed. We will have a backside view when a bowler bowls a ball to the batsman. That is the camera view in 80s and 70s. Now i would HATE this, i watch old games, and i HATE the fact that the camera is behind the batsmen, first of all you can't see what shot the batsmen's played, nor can you see where the bowler bowled it exactly. Edges and LBW's are also harder to spot with a behind camera angle, so it would be a nightmare for me 4) Camera will be banned out of colour clarity.Players would be wearing white uniform but no colour anywhere. All white N black screen. All the fans,Cricket ground, everything would be white and black. This would be frustrating, as cricket is a game of colour and carnival atmosphere, the ball would be harder to see (especially with the behind camera angle), and overall the game would be a lot blander. Would i still watch cricket without all these things YES !! BUT i think i would go and watch it at the ground a lot more
I just literally had this problem. Here are a few solutions to try first before immediately determining someone is spying on you; reset the PRAM (Parameter RAM), check your Magsafe indicator light(is it on or off? This one worked for me.), try a good old fashioned reboot, check your running programs on the Apple menu by selecting Force Quit, check under system preferences Account for Login items, then I would say try calling Apple for help first before traveling to a local Apple retailer for troubleshooting. To Reset the PRAM: 1.Reboot your Mac 2. Hold down Command (Apple) - Option (Alt) - P - R (Some systems may use Control - Option - P-R) When you have heard the chime for the second time, release the keys and the Mac will boot as normal Once your operating system has loaded, you may need to verify your time zone, startup volume, and volume settings using System Preferences.
First put masking tape over the place you want the hole.inside and out. Then use a Masonry bit and don't push too hard, let the bit do the work.If you want a very big hole you might need to start with a smaller bit and then use the bigger one.
Yes a good electric drill should do, using a masonry bit go very slow and dont use the hammer action.
From Finder Help To turn off iSight, close the active application window. The green indicator light turns off, showing that the camera is off and video has stopped. Look in System Preferences Accounts your account Login Items to see if an of the apps that use iSight is on the list. Anything listed will auto-start when logged into an account.
