Most of the appliances in your home are connected in parallel so that if you turn one off, the others stay on. This doesn’t affect the amount of current flowing through each individual device. However, if you plug too many appliances in, this can cause your circuits to overload. Using Ohm’s law, explain why plugging in too many appliances can cause your circuit breakers to open.
