Motorcycle question, has any one found a particular?

Has any one found a particular make of motorcycle tyre that‘s more suited to a sidecar rig? I do know Avon make a range just wondering if there are any other options. Thanks.

Answer:

Goodyear made a sidecar tire in 4.25/50x18, 4.00x19, and 5.10x16 for the Harley's with sidecars as used by some police agencies- Chicago Harley dealers that serviced police cycles got them as requested for civilians also . Continental has or had sidecar tires listed in catalog sent to BMW dealers who had customers with sidecars.
I have used Continental tires on all my bikes for years, and have yet to be disappointed. I used to use Bridgstone but switched to Continental tires and I really like them. I know Goodyear makes tires as well for sidecars but I have never used them so I can't say for sure.
I am aware of people running car tires on the back rim of a GL1800 Honda Goldwing. They call themselves Darksiders. That would be the way to go for a sidecar rig. Good Luck
