I have to agree that bar none Metzler is the superior tire on the market. They use a water based mold release so no wear in is necessary. Also they use a wrapped belt design that will keep you a lot more stable if you hit something and puncture one at speed. They will wear a bit faster than a Doneplop or others, but sticky is sticky and that's a good thing, a tire is cheaper than my but. Ride safe.
Metzler, just buy them and you will know. I've had several bikes and the Metzler's just grip. They make you extremely confident.
