can i use shredded newspaper or paper towels as bedding for them
recycled newspaper has good absorbancy and its cheap pick yourself up a paper shredder and go to town making your own bedding the only problem with that is it needs to be changed frequently it has no odor control and if left unchanged and dirty may pose health risks to the animal but it also gives them something to chew up
Yes, shredded paper can be used for most animals as bedding.
You can use them. They're ok, but i still would recommend the normal bedding for the mice. (i would suggest Carefresh bedding if you got the normal kind of bedding for rodents). I don't know if the shredded newspaper would be good either because the ink might be bad for them if they decide to rip the newspaper with their mouth.
