Question:

Mustang Exhaust system?

I got a V6 with stock muffler/exhaust/etc and I installed KN for a deeper engine sound. I wanna run straight pipes. How much would it cost if i were to take it in for professional installation. And how much of a difference would it make if i were to run straight pipes rather than stock muffler/exhaust.

Answer:

Don't go with straight pipes, it will sound like a ricer and you'll actually lose power. Get a Pypes H pie cat-back system and either the Pypes high flow mufflers or Ford GT takeoffs from a 2005+ Mustang. Sounds way better. Complete kit is under 500 bucks, another 150 for professional installation.
it will sound louder it will probably be under 1k
people will tell you otherwise but if you are gonna get an exhaust just get 3in all the way to the back it will sound better and you will pretty much be done with it. cost wise i took mine to a shop and they did everything. it was a cat-back system and 3in pipe straight and they charged me $400 i think
