I paid $23,500 for my 'Race Red' Base V6 Manual with the Performance Package and let me just say, this car is so worth the money!!! A couple of points: The 3.31 Limited Slip Axle ratio with the 6 Speed Manual Gearbox makes a big difference with performance versus the Automatic with the 2.73 AxleAlso, the Dual Exhaust is different and has different part numbers than the Dual Exhaust on the Automatic equipped MustangI have not rented a Mustang (Automatic) yet but one blog I read stated that there is a big difference in the sound of the Manual versus the AutomaticAlso, if you look inside the tips of the Manual Exhaust the openings are larger (no inserts)Long story short if you can shift and if you don't drive in Stop and Go traffic too much, you owe it to yourself to get the Manual as it sounds better and is quickerFinally, I priced the exact Pirelli P Zero tires and they run $352 EACH at Tire RackAdd in the 19 inch rims, better brakes, sway bars, strut tower brace and Motor Cover (another Manual advantage) as well as the 3.31 Limited Slip Axle, this may be the best car value of all time in 'todays dollars'Now, I need to go bark the tires hard going into second gear and chirp em again in third just for fun :)
