I'm not a big fan of muzzles in general, as they prevent dogs from reading body language and make people think your dog is aggressive, but I need to find one for my Cairoston (Boston Terrier x Cairn Terrier). I had him at the vet last week and he was a total baby. He was terrified and responded by growling and absolutely screaming his head off, eventually backing himself into a corner. When the vet listen to his heart, he growled at her. When she gave him his rabies vaccine, he spun around and tried to bite her. I had to hold his head to keep him still, but the vet even got scared and jumped back. So, I want to get him a muzzle so people will feel safer around him, but I wont be using it all the time.I've been looking online, but all the muzzle are really bulky. The fabric one looks good, but do they work? Experience welcome. Especially those who use a head collar. I use the halti.
Naw, he definately likes you, and what he did was NOT taking you for granted. He is a little shy, and with his friends there, didnt quite know what to do. He showed you he liked you by sitting next to you, and telling you not to go. He said it didnt matter if you left or not to see if YOU wanted to stay, if YOU liked Him ! Give him time to get used to you. Dont start second guessing him, or you'll lose him, guys dont like a girl with so many complications.

YES. If you need to smoke, go outside. Or don't smoke. Easy as that. If you don't want it bad enough to go outside, you don't really want it. Besides, you really should just quit. If you decide to smoke inside, be prepared for a verbal lecture and a hefty fine. Good luck! )
