my 4x4 wont turn on. push the switch on the dash but nothing happens. no lights no normal click on nothing. ?

any ideas? where can i get one cheaper than auto zones 180 bucks?And is ther any way to convert my auto lock system to straight manual?

If the lights don't come I would suspect the shift motor attached to the transfer case failed. You can tap on the motor with a plastic hammer while someone pushes the button on the dash.

Check the fuse in the engine compartment first before you buy anything. 9 out of 10 times, the fuse is blown.
