i have a Baxi boiler and also the air pressure goes down dramaticly when i bleed the radiators. so if you could also tell me how to get the pressure back up that would be great :D
the heating works on pressurised system when you take air out via bleeding a rad the pressure needs to be topped up again.look under the boiler and you will see a silver braided pipe in a half loop, on the end of this is a valve like a washing machine tap turn this a quarter turn and watch the temperature gauge go up when it gets to 1.5 bar turn it off. Always keep an eye on the pressure valve as soon as it drops to zero you will have no hot water or heating.
