I live in New Zealand and my parents cannot be bothered taking my cat to the vetThey work 9 hrs a day 7 days a week and they say that you don't need toThey have a colleague who has owned a lot of cats who says that you don't need to take cats to the vet, and they take her word for itI'm not 100% sure if this is true, but our cat looks like shes always really boredWe don't have any toys for her, as we never get time to buy themI always just swing a shoe lace around and she seems to be interested for like 1 minute then she just walks awayWe don't have a place for her to sleep, she likes to sleep on my bed or on my office chairI'm 13 so I can't really go out and buy her stuff, nor do I even have the money toShould I take her to the vet, buy her toys, etcOr should I leave her like this? She seems to just sleep around the house most of the time then go outside for a whileWhat should I do?
just do the best with what you havefor a bed, a cardboard box with a blanket in it would be goodmake sure she has a lot of fresh water to drinkyou can crumple up a small paper bag or aluminum foil to make a ball she can bat aroundcats sleep 16 hours a day, and if she has the opportunity to go outside, she shouldn't be bored.
