I just bought a brand new SanDisk memory card. It is a 4gb. I have a SanDisk reader I used it to put the pics/videos that i had on my old memory card onto the computer. Usually when u got to My Computer it shows you File. The file sais KODAK. I click on it and everything appears. SO I have my new one and when I put the SanDisk memory card in the SanDisk Reader it wont detect it. I've tried it over and over 3 times and nothing. The SanDisk reader sais ImageMate.Its not locked.
There's only one conclusion, if the card and reader are working properly - I know because I've had the same thing. Make sure the card is fully inserted into the reader. You did mention the style of card but if it's SDHC, as one of mine is, just make sure the card is fully inserted so the reader can see all the contacts.
