my minimax 250 pool heater is heating but not very fast. there is definitely a problem. what can i do? the owner manual says to call a technician but the technician does not know. i have lost all hope.
My thoughts are the heat exchanger itself my be plugged up. If it is still heating some, then there are only a few things that can be the problem. 1) The flow is restricted. 2) The heat exchanger is partially plugged. 3) If it has dual heating elements, one of them could be bad. Without seeing it exactly it's hard to troubleshoot. Those are just a few things that come to mind for you to check.
