I have a dell inspiron 6400 with a multi card reader, my sony ericsson w810i uses a memory stick pro duo. in order to put it into the multi card reader, i have the memory stick duo adapter, the reader detects any other card , ie. the SD card from my digi-cam etc. it no longer detects my phone's memory card. . what tha hell?!. any suggestions on how to check where the problem is.
Before I say the reader is faulty, do you have any other mem sticks to test with? Perhaps the adapter has worn down? When I put my MS-duo in my reader, I have to give slightly more force when I push it in that with an SD in order for Windows to read it properly.
