I turned them on, they went up then stopped. I cant hear the motor is on.
It could be a simple problem. Check the fuse box and make sure the fuses are OK. If that is not the problem I would try unplugging the power source to the wiper motor and resetting it. It could be a bad wiper motor.
Could be anything from a $2 fuse to a wiper motor that could cost $100-500 depending on make of car. Some cars also have a relay that is $15-30.
Sounds like a fuse has blown, or something has become disconected. Check the fuse for the wipers 1st. If blown replace w/like fuse. If not blown, 2nd, check the wiper off/on switch. It's probably one of the two. The wiper motor don't normally go for years.Good Luck RM
