Question:

Natural remedies for Agitated depression?

Anyone have any natural remedies for agitated depression? I do not want to take meds because of all the side effects associated with them.

Answer:

Your very reliable source, isn't. I have 'em on my bike (see avatar). 1) been riding for 36 years now, not a R.U.B. (doctor/lawyer monday-friday). Do my own work on it. 2) true bikers wouldn't care. 3) haven't been shot yet by anyone.
If a source was very reliable then logic would dictate you should have no question at all, correct? . Effectively you have no question and the truth is you just wanted to comment in question form because no one can answer your question if you already have an answer. Your answer was you have a very reliable source who told you. That's an answer because you qualified it as one. A very reliable source is without question. I say you have provided your own best answer. So your real or actual question is not about white wall tires and whether your very reliable source is actually reliable? You answered that yourself as well. By asking here you have effectively doubted this source and the very reliable property of your source is no longer questioned by you, correct? We can't answer what you have asked by answering them yourself and truthfully we are only left to comment on the issues you presented which does not count as a question asked. You are asking us to comment on comments, thus there is no question and that's what we are supposed to do, comment, correct? What's false is your source as a very reliable source. If true then you would not question the source. Therefore your very reliable source is not reliable and the comments are false.
There are actually several. There is St. John's Wort, SAMe, some B-Vitamins, GABA, Ashwagandha, and L-Theanine. Many people get a lot of benefits from any one of these, but St. John's Wort, SAMe, and L-Theanine are probably the more popular ones. In general, supplements don't have any reactions aside from allergic reactions, but that's with anything. The major things to watch out for would be listed on the bottles. It sounds like you're not taking prescriptions (which is a very good thing), so there shouldn't be any interactions. (edit): L-Tryptophan (and 5-HTP, which is one thing that L-Tryptophan breaks down into) is moreso for sleep and relaxation than for depression and mood but a few people use it for stress.
Some vintage bikes look good with white wall tires. Vast majority today will not look good with white wall tires. A true biker is a person that rides a motorcycle. Speaking for me, if I meet a fellow rider, I don't care if the tires are white or black wall. Its not what you ride, its that you ride. Biker gangs are criminal organizations. They are not true bikers. The bikes are used for image and intimidation. 1,2,and 3 are delusional. My BS meter is in the red.
Just to be clear, how is it that you know you're having agitated depression rather than a manic episode or extreme anxiety? I need to have a sense of just how serious an episode we're talking about before I respond here. If there's an underlying diagnosis that has been mistaken or not made, as in BPD, for example, St. John's Wort, or any other naturopathic remedy, is NOT going to fix this.
