Hi,I want to install an aftermarket radio in my 1996 Honda Accord, but I realized that my accord does NOT have a vehicle factory wiring harness on the radio wires for some reason. I understand that when you buy an aftermarket stereo you are going to need a harness, but it has to connect to the factory harness already installed in the car. I got it really cheap so I'm expecting some problems like this. What should I do?
the thanks to understand for effective is to be searching promptly at your equipment wiring, and configuration. For that many volume of speaker the vehicle must have factors audio equipment, that are a touch extra complicated than universal audio equipment
So since it does not have a factory wiring harness, the current OEM radio does not work, otherwise, there is a harness there.
Are you stating that some previous owner cut off the factory harness connector? In that case go to a junkyard and cut off one from a wrecked car and splice it on to your car. Then you can connect the aftermarket stereo and harness adapter to it.
