Question:

Number of boxes on pallet calculations?

Standard 40x48 pallet. Max height of pallet is 72 inches, including the height of the pallet itself. My most common boxes are the following:(LxWxH)18x18x1616x16x1616x12x12I do not wish to mix and match boxes. How many 18x18x16 can fit on this pallet? How many 16x16x16? How many 16x12x12?Bonus: What is the most efficient box size for the pallet meeting my specifications(any box size)?

Answer:

I heard the pallet expander hurt like a b*tch. You have to tighten it everyday with a key, and it murders. I personally haven't had one, but my friend has. Your gums might be sore for the first day or two after you get braces, but thats not that big of a deal. I don't know about the spacers. Basically, your mouth will be sore for a few days. After that, it won't be that big of a deal. It'll pretty much be routine and of the norm. You'll probably need to use the dental wax they give you, because the braces might irritate the insides of your mouth first. Also, make sure to brush religiously. Floss as well. Your mouth will probably feel a bit bigger and you might not be able to close it at first. Yeah, thats pretty much my experience with braces. I get mine taken off in 2 months! Yay !
I had that problem too. After about a month you can speak pretty well, and after about two you speak normally. The braces may need wax on some brackets the first few weeks until your mouth stops getting caught, and the expander may give you headaches so have tylenol ready. Ice cream and chocolate will be your best friends. After about a week with the brace things won't be sore, but learn to check and see if any stray bits of food stuck around :) You don't want your smile-in-progress covered with leftover sandwich. Milkshakes are the best option because you can suck them up easily and they numb your teeth a little. Other than that, unfortunately, you just have to wait until its over. Mine took almost four years, and then theres the retainer....
Pallet Spacers
I don't know about the expander. But really, the spacers hurt the most. It's because they move the back teeth, the ones you chew on, so the soreness is much more noticeable. The spacers are also kept in for a week, but they don't hurt all the time. The braces only hurt when they are tightened. They hurt a lot the next morning, but the pain never lasts more than 2 days, so don't worry. If you need them, the bite bands are the worst thing. The bands which connect the bottom lower jaw to get the bite right. You can't open you're jaw fully, but luckily, you get to take them off at mealtimes. You may get these in the last few months of treatment.
I've had all three. Braces are the sorest part, and only right after they get tightened once a month. It's not too bad at all, really. Hey, maybe you'll get rubber bands that stretch across the front of your mouth like I did. Did you know that you can aim and shoot them out of your mouth at other people? [Add] Braces CAN be painful when you first get them on unless you get some wax to apply to them. They rub against your cheeks and lips, causing scraping and scarring. It's probably better to just let it happen though, it's only irritating for a few days, week tops. Your teeth can be sore after tightening as well, but only for a day or two. Use it as an excuse to have a milk shake for lunch :P
