The adaptor you list won't work. Most chargers put out DC voltage to charge a battery. This adaptor puts out AC voltage. It would probably damage your robot. You need to determine what voltage and current is required to charge the batteries in your robot. The voltage has to be the same and the charger has to be designed for the same battery chemistry. In other words if there are NiCD batteries in the robot the charger has to charge NiCD batteries. If the batteries are NiMH the charger has to be designed for them. Same situation if the robot has Li-Ion batteries. You also have to make sure the charger connector has the right polarity. The positive voltage has to be on the right pin. If the positive and negative are reversed the odds are you will damage something. You could damage the batteries and the robot by using the wrong charger.
