The instructions said to cleanse the stone in salt water which I did but I completley forgot that sunlight was also need.What should I do?Leave the stone to soak?
They work fine, but they are certainly not more efficient than other heaters of the same wattage which cost much less. Take a look at the answer from Peter W. He has explained the situation accurately. I don't call EdenPure a scam, it is just an over priced product with misleading advertising. People who have already been stung will defend their decision to the death however, that's human nature.
The simple fact is that all electric heaters are 100% efficient at producing heat. The design, reliability and safety of these portable heaters is the determining factors.
The advantage of the quartz heater element is more rapid heating than one using (say) a ceramic former. Infrared applies to all types of radiating elements. It's simply heat radiation.
