Question:

Painting rooms, need color pallet ideas. Suggestions?

I'm looking for a fresh new color scheme. I'll be doing 4 rooms, so feel free to add more than one suggestion. I want something very modern (cutting edge trendy) to borderline futuristic. maybe even something you would expect to see inside a club, art gallery, or a very stylish coffee house.Something to make you go quot;woahquot; this is really awesome.Any ideas?(PS: NO brown/blue as that is overdone, or the black/white contrasting stencil look)

Awwww thats so sweet of you! Why don't you go to sephora or one of these stores and pickup something for her? I'm sure you'll find a lot of choises there. Even though i don't think you'll find an eyeshadow palette that contains matte colors only! Does it all have to be matte?! Because Last week i bought an eyeshadow palette from lancome with 4 matte colors and 2 shimmery colors. < Trust me most of the palettes you'll find are all like these, contains matte and shimmer... But if you insist on matte colors only, you need to go to some stores like mac, inglot, etc. to pickup your choises of shades and colors. Because you also want a specific colors (from pink to brown, as you said) ! PS: i'm not sure, but i think i saw a matte eyeshadow palette in No Makeup Makeup branch in sephora. Hope i helped
Well a lot of those brands make empty palettes that you can customize and fill with whatever shades you want. For christmas one year I got a palette from mac and a gift card to go buy whatever 4 shadows I want. I knoww urban decay does that too. Some good matte palettes that are available in stores: Urban Decay, Naked Basics -- Not to be confused with the Naked, Naked 2 and Naked 3 palettes. They Naked Basicas palette has your basic matte neutral colors. The Balm, Meet Matt(e) -- I own and love this palette. Theres your basic neutrals, plus a couple other fun colors like a yellowish color and a navy. All of them are matte. The Balm isn't as high end as some of those brands you listed, but I believe it to be a hidden gem. I love their products. Too Faced, Matte Eye -- Probably your best bet. I love all of Too Faced's products. This palette has 9 different shades, and they're all really beautiful. Stila, In the Know -- This palette has some really soft, pretty neutral matte shades. Stila isn't really my favorite brand, I find them to be kind of boring, but it is good quality and a solid choice. I think your best bet would be to either get a personalized palette and either a gift card, or pick the colors yourself. I would go with mac. If you decide to do that, here are my favorite matte shades by mac: Embark Soft Brown Brule Copperplate Quarry Malt Wedge Blackberry
