pipe and pump size calculation?

we are installing new pipeline from godavari river.total pipeline length 19750meter.our daily water consumption nearabout 500000 litre perday.for this purpose i want pipeline size and motor hp.Total static head 69.75met

Answer:

In a way yes you can, but you must first thaw out that section of pipe. It depends on what type of pipe it is to say how the best way to do this is. Usually you can just use a hair dryer and go slowly back and forth to make the pipe warm and melt the ice. It's best to just thaw out the entire section that is frozen and then (with the water cut off at the main cutt off) replace that piece. Allow proper drying time for the clue if it's pvc or cpvc pipe, and then turn the water back on.
