Variables to consider, is the jack wired with CAT5, are your phones wired in parallel with another phone jack, (before or after), you may loose phone service to those areas, does the current phone wire go to your router/switch/modem location? May be less trouble and or expense to purchase wireless equipment. Saw your video, if the router/modem is on the other side of the wall get another wall plate with on more hole on each side and run a patch cord thorugh the wall, if possible. Good luck.
Go into your control panel then click on users. Check each user listed to find which one has administrative rights. If you are on a computer where there is no administrator selectedthen select yourself with the rights. Cheers
