I needed a specific shape for coasters for my boyfriend's birthday, so I bought hexagon mosaic coaster molds online, but they say they're for cement. They're made out of plastic, but I can't figure out what kind. What this still work with resin? I'm planning on embedding a photo into casted resin, and I'm worried about them not coming out right or at all in these molds. Maybe if I wipe some oil into the molds before casting the resin? Please help, I'm a n00b at resin :)
Thing number one - take a safety course. There is probably one offered by your state and they will go over safety equipment during the course, also safe riding habits like stay alert, The biggest thing. Basic equipment (not the super-safety special you asked for, but bike safety has built in limitations): Glasses/goggles. You will need sunglasses as you won't have a visor. Helmet - required, may have faceshield so glasses might be redundant. Gloves - good grip, keep hands warm (really, it does get cold when you don't expect it to) Shoes/boots - make sure the soles are non-skid and make sure they have a heel so that your feet will stay on your pegs. Jeans or chaps. If your bike goes down, the denim or the leather (or your racing suit) will help protect your skin. Leather Jacket - you will want one that crosses over, no zipper up the middle as it lets the wind in. Our your racing suit, I suppose. You will not be able to achieve total safety, as in any endeavor. And equipment only takes you so far. If you fall, the helmet will help protect your head but your neck is still vulnerable, for example. Good luck, ride safe, stay alert. If the other biker waves at you, let him know that you are awake, too.
Name brand racing suits like alpine. You need pieces from head to toeshelmet..jacketpants..gloves going to be hot though .very very sweaty sticky hotif money isn't a problemmaybe you should get two suits? Switch back and forth so the suit doesn't smell so bad
