Do you have to use pipe cement on plastic pipes that are going to be connected to a compression fitting? Or does the fitting snug itself onto the pipe?

I say this because you posted this question in the Singles and Dating, though you seemed to talk more generally about life and you're place in it. While things could be worse, I bet you couldn't imagine feeling much better. Some ideas you might want to try are boosting your confidence by really producing something that can be a source of pride for you. Write, draw, tutor, create something that makes you feel worthwhile, and that will contribute immensely. Develop your interpersonal skills by boosting your oratory skills. Become a better speaker, a better wordsmith, become more learned and knowledgeable in a myriad of subjects. This will help you get your foot in the door in a lot of social situations. I'm sure you're not as ugly as you may think you are, but people are always happy to be friends with a funny, intelligent guy.
Rate of fire will be dependent upon the specific purpose. Will it be suppressive fire, room clearing, a mix of the two? Bullet caliber is dependent upon use as well. Will the gun also be used for medium-range combat, or just close engagements? It could be anything from a handgun to a 12 gauge shotgun to a pistol-caliber carbine to a submachine gun to a compact automatic rifle using intermediate or full-power rounds. All of those are used to some extent in close quarters combat, depending upon the situation. There's a reason that there are lots of different firearm designs. If one could do all, there'd only be a need for one.
