Question:

Pressed powder foundation visible?

Is pressed powder foundation visible when worn? All the girls I've seen who i know use pressed powder, their foundation is always visible, but it could be because they cake it on maybe?I'm just looking for a change of foundation, but don't want to buy any which will make it ovbvious Im wearing some

Answer:

they probably have liquid foundation and then powder foundation on. When I don't have any blemishes I use lancome teint idole ultra. but if I have some blemishes I wear clinique clairifying liquid foundation (they make a powder version as well) the lancome one is more sheer and the clinique one is more matte with better coverage. Neither ones clog my pores or cause acne.
I okorder / - it matches the skin's undertones for a perfect match and is water based to your skin breathes. Just use the translucent powder to set and/or touch up and you're good to go.
It should not be visible. They may have too much on or the wrong shade or not be blending it well enough. I would advise going to the Clinique counter at a local high end department store and trying some of theirs out with a specialist. When you find what works for you go on EBA and buy it at a fraction of the cost
1. Either they chose the wrong shade 2. Or They have the wrong skin type (too dry) 3. Or They are wearing too much. 4. Or they aren't blending it properly Pressed powder foundation can be used, but whether or not it looks good depends hugely on the four conditions I listed. To find a foundation that won't show up, it has to match your skin perfectly. The best textures for this are spray foundation and Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse (I use it and I love it). No matter what texture foundation you have, blending it in and using the proper amount is key. I see far too many people with orange cakey lines around their faces!
