PRO PHOTOGRAPHERS: Is a 100% polyester fabric a good material for a studio backdrop?

Hi!I'm in Colombia, and I need a good, non reflective, non glare black fabric. I've seen a 100% polyester one. Is it ok? Thanks for your help!

Answer:

Any of the snaffles you mentioned would be mild.
I use the simple O-ring snaffile. I find that one to be the less severe. Everyone has their own opinion though. Also, you could try a bosal. Maby she isnt ready for a bit and you could try the bosal out. She may just be one who likes those better.
You can try a french link, or a waterford. Horses generally like copper, so that's an option, as far as the metal goes. Don't ever buy cheap bits. Obvious question: has she had her teeth checked? You can always use a Cook's bitless, the benefits of which it seems I'm always touting, but it really is a good bridle.
An oven doesn't give off natural gas; it burns it, producing carbon dioxide. Apparently they don't have a well-sealed house. If they did, the oxygen level would drop, and then the oven would produce carbon monoxide (due to incomplete combustion) which is poisonous.
If she is that good why don't you just get her a loose ring snaffle, a fatter one will be the softest!!! Good luck!
