I got the old one out and i cant get the new axle in my 1996 geo prizm please help me in wont go in.
Use the axle as a slide hammer. Stab it into the trans, take the slack out of the axle by softly pulling backwards and then thrust it forwards. It may take a couple of times but you are trying to get past the clip. Also, look into the transmission where the axle goes in and make sure nothing is blocking your splines.
