The state makes the determination of your eligibility, and because you were let go through no fault of your own they will likely determine in your favor. Your former company would then have to contest the determination, and then a hearing would be scheduled. When you go to the hearing - you ascertain that you were not made aware of any state mandated training, and were not properly informed like the rest of the staff. You were told that, after missing this training that you were not informed of, that you were being fired because you missed it. Period. End of story. Oh, and at the same time - look for another job.
