Question:

Safety slogan???

Does anyone have some really great ideas for a safety slogan? The best one will get 10 points!!

Answer:

Hey Marcus, I know what you're going through. When I was 22, I was in a wheelchair for a while. I was in a serious accident and was in a coma for a few months. I had to be in a wheelchair for a while because my hip was broken in the accident. I had to learn to use the toilet sitting down, too. It's completely possible, just keep your knees wide and your pelvis tilted forward and you'll learn to do it just fine. If you are paralyzed, you're going to have to learn to deal with your new challenges. I'm so sorry this happened to you, but I am glad you have a chance to learn thisyou are about to learn how powerful you are! I had to relearn breathing on my own, holding my head up, swallow my food, chew my food, get the food to my mouth. Open my mouth, and everything else. It was hard to do, and it was embarrassing, and I felt alone. Still, eating and sitting up were nothing compared to learning to walk. Getting my driver's license again was even harder. Finding a woman still seems impossible. It's been ten years. I am now a personal trainer and a licensed massage therapist. I help people all the time who are having trouble with their own bodies, because I know exactly what it feels like. It's hard! It's a hard thing for you now, but I'm not going to tell you that I'm sorry or that I feel bad, because I don't. I feel happy that you get to take the journey I did. You get to learn what Marcus is really made of. You're going to see that he can do great things. You're going to find out that you are a stud. The world is yours to conquer. Not everybody will be willing to help you, sometimes you'll feel like you're on your own. You're not alone. Email me with anything you need. I'll be happy to help someone else down this road. I'm not the only one that's had to take that road, just like you're not the only one who's had to take this hard road you're on. I'm here for you, man. Mike (US)
