Question:

Should a church have a lightning rod?

I saw this question asked once before. I figure it's worth asking again. So why should a church have a lightning rod? I mean, isn't God going to protect a house of worship? Having a lightning rod on a church seems to show a lack of faith in God's protection.

Answer:

Not if there is a fire hydrant on your lawn. that fire hydrant is for the use of the fire department in case of a fire in your neighborhood. If your car is parked in front of the fire hydrant the fire personnel cannot get to the fire hydrant when they need to. You have given me a great idea though to prevent other people from parking in front of your house. And that is to put a fake fire hydrant on your lawn so no body will park there. When you want to park there just pick up the fake fire hydrant and put it in your garage. However I do not recommend this. I am absolutely certain that someone has already thought of this and I am certain that there is a law against putting a fake fire hydrant on your front lawn.. Plus a fake fire hydrant could cost the fire department valuable time in responding to a fire if they were tricked by your fake fire hydrant and tried to hook up a hose to it. .
No, you can't park there. Your first clue is the citation you received. I'm really not trying to be rude here but think about what you just asked. If you feel it's incorrect fight it. If not pay it and park elsewhere
Violation. The FIRE DEPARTMENT doesn't care what color the curb or sidewalk are when they smash your car out of the way while trying to save lives and property. The 15 feet is for everyone's safety.
only park a minimum of 15 ft far flung from the yellow hydrant and that i could say you're risk-free.. as lengthy as its no longer a pink hearth hydrant.. by no potential.. EVER park close to a pink hydrant.. ok that final area i only made up yet yeah 15 ft and additionally you would be risk-free.
ST, just follow the pedal up to behind the dashboard by the firewall. There's GOT to be some linkage that you can disconnect. If not, keep following it until you can. Just be darn sure of where the pedal is located when you remove it, so that you can return it to its same place. If that doesn't work, the pedal itself might come off at the end of the armature. You might be able to slide the carpet under it. Good luck man! I think they used to make those here in StL a long time ago.
