So, my Sim had a birthday party at her penthouse, so obviously the only way to get to it is by going up the elevatorThe party was awesome then people started leavingBut all of a sudden now no one can use the elevator and people were stuck in her apartmentI did the CTRL SHIFT C and brought up the cheat bar and used the resetSim cheatSo everyone was resetI thought my problem was gone! wellit wasn'tMy Sim still can't use the elevator because someone is stuck in thereI don't know how to get it to work cause I can't like delete the elevator or anything so it's like she's stuck unless i teleport her but I don't wanna do that cause she has a butler and stuffCan someone help? okay i am almost positive that there is a solutionGo into buy mode, click on family inventoryAdd all your items into itWhen you're done, go to edit town and move your sim outMove them into a temporary houseNow go back to edit town and open up the cheat tabType these two cheats into the barTestingCheatsEnabled true RestrictBuildBuyInBuildings false The second cheat allows you to build apartmentsGo back to your apartment, click on the elevator and delete itThen build a new one, and woila! you can move back in.
