Question:

Smoke detector beeping after the battery was replaced?

My dad went through and changed all the batteries in the detectors, we have about 6 upstairs with 1 monoxide detector, and others on the main level and in the basement. After my dad changed and tested all of them, the one in the bedroom next to mine started beeping (every 5 minutes or so), he took out the battery and put it back in, then tested it and it was fine after it was reset. At 2:30 this morning, mine let off a beep, we ignored it and went back to sleep. It didn't beep again until 7:30, then again at 7:35, we didn't know which one it was at the time so we tiredly waited until it beeped again, and of course, it didn't. It didn't beep again until 10:00am, so my dad unplugged it and re-inserted the battery and tested it, and we waited. It beeped again at 10:20 or 10:25 and we just unplugged it.The battery works fine and it was plugged in correctly, was it going bad already? It's a newer one.

Answer:

Yes. When I lived in a condo I had a forest of container plants on my patio that I watered that way. They sell an adapter that attaches to the faucet and then to a hose at Home Depot in the sprinkler parts department and it will work fine for your purposes.
The admins have probably filtered out the host name or IPs in the firewall, it's not likely going to happen. Shouldn't you be learning anyways? ;-)
