Question:

SONY multi-card reader problem?

I have a SONY multi-card reader that I got a few months ago. I had a compaq laptop with windows XP on it, and it worked great. All I had to do was plug it in, and it would come up on my computer. My laptop broke so I got a new toshiba laptop with windows vista on it, and when I plug in the card reader, it recognizes a new hardware, but then when I go to 'computer' it dosent show it at all. I've also tried all USB ports. any help?

Answer:

once you plug it in attempt going to my computing gadget then wait til the folder for the camer pops up. could like F stress or some thing. If that doesn't artworkattempt utilising the memory card rather of the usb cable.
It's possible that Windows Vista doesn't have the driver for your Sony multi-card. Go to Sony's web site and search for a vista driver for your multicard reader in their Support section under Downloads. If they don't have a vista version then you may have to wait a while before they make one available.
