Where can I get a cheap spare tire for my honda prelude to keep in my trunk?
I'm pretty sure your Prelude came with a cheap spare tire in the trunk. What's wrong with it?
Honda Prelude have two models, Prelude Base and Prelude SH. Prelude Base has a tire size of 205/50R16 87V while Prelude SH is 205/50R16 87V. Both tire size fits in a 16 inch diameter rim. If you just need it as a spare tire, you can have cheap tire online. Atlas Tires 205/50R16 RED HAWK 87V, Falken Tires ZE502 205/50R16 87V and Achilles Tires ATR SPORT 205/50R16 87V BW A/S have a price of under $100 per tire. If you have the budget and can go for $100 and more per tire you can try BFGoodrichg-Force T/A KDW 2, Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport and FirestoneFirehawk Wide Oval Indy 500. All these tire size is 205/50R16 within the price range of $100-$110 per tire.
if i we're you,i would call a tire shop for the specs on the type of tire, your tires and rims are not stock so looking in side the door frame wont work, those specs are for stock rims and tires.when you change the profile of the tire and depending on if they are performance rated, the psi is different.i have a 98 eclipse gsx and have 18 wheels and tires that call for at least 40 psi and up to 45 psi,i would call a pro.
