When I turn my steering wheel to the left I hear this grinding or shuttering sound in my front right wheel. It sounds very weird. Doing other research it sounds like it could be my wheel bearing. Is that it? It is a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. What is the pricing on getting that fixed if it is a wheel bearing issue.Thank you,
Organics - hydrocarbons - like gasoline will naturally break up water. It just has nowhere to escape if you keep teh gas cap on tight. I remember the last lab job I worked at where my boss water me to run a % water content on a benzene sample. Yeah, I know.he WAS serious.
it does sound like a hub bearing, its very dangerous and can range from 300 to 500 more or less depending on labor rates and brand of parts
Does sound like it may be a bad wheel bearing. It’s useless to try and get an estimate for the cost of parts and labor for repairs via Yahoo Answers. In a lot of cases we have no idea of what country you’re in, let alone city, state, province or township. Even knowing where you live is of little use as prices for parts and labor can vary wildly within the same area. If you understand the problem and just need parts you can Google for the best prices for parts. Your best solution for getting an estimate of repair costs is by contacting an independent auto repair shop in your area. Don’t go with any of the franchise or chain type auto repair places as they frequently use poorly trained help and many have no mechanical training at all, and dealers have to charge more to cover their high overhead. It’s really best (when possible) to get a personal referral from someone you trust to a local independent shop.
Chevy Silverado is a P/U correct and as such has rear wheel drive. If it's the wheel bearing you will hear it make a humming noise especially on a straightaway. If you suspect your right front wheel bearing, jack it up and spin the wheel. If it's the bearing you will hear it. Once step further is to remove the wheel, wheel nut and inspect the bearings (inner and outer) and the bearing race for discoloration, and metallic particles. I hate to guess about pricing but it's about an hour's work plus parts.
besides the ability sapped from the engine throughout the alternator belt to maintain the water cellular going, the different project with those schemes is that your engine is designed to compress air plus gasoline vapor, not a flamable hydrogen-oxygen-gasoline mixture. this way of mixture will detonate interior the cylinder before the spark plug can hearth, ensuing in engine knock and in all probability engine harm. We mixture anti-knock factors into gasoline precisely so it won't decompose into hydrogen and carbon under pressure and warmth on the compression stroke and then detonate. in view that including hydrogen to the mixture will exacerbate engine knock, that is grow to be my effect that those contraptions do not produce adequate hydrogen and oxygen to make the slightest little bit of distinction to the engine. And that is extremely uncomplicated to confirm this in case you place your quit the air intake while the engine is working and sense the quantity of air that the engine breathes in. At each and each revolution, a 2-liter engine pulls in, nicely, 2 liters of air, and it makes possibly one hundred revolutions consistent with 2d. evaluate this 4 hundred liters of air consistent with 2d with the small flow of gasoline that could bubble out of one of those water cells. That gasoline won't make any further effect on your engine than the exhaust from the truck in front of you. while somebody submits his miracle water-for-gasoline automobile to a appealing-qualified self sufficient testing laboratory i'm going to be happy to look on the outcomes. yet no person has, and that they are actually not likely to achieve this.
