I do not know how to do what you are asking, but, there is a way to trigger an alarm by turning the doornob or opening the door. You could have it where the alarm triggers if electricity stops flowing through the thing that retracts when you turn the nob. Or, you could possibly have something where the doornob's surface acts like a giant button. When pressure is applied, the button is pushed, and the alarm sounds. I hope this helps!
