I just baught a Targus universal 32 in 1 card reader/writer to upload my pictures to my computer off of my XD memory card. We have windows XP in the instructions it tells us that only with windows 98 do you need to download the drivers for the software to work. We plugged in the USB adapter and cord with the memory card in it to the computer and the blue light turns on, but nothing happens. nothing pops up. My boyfriend says it is supposto install drivers, but that it wont automatically find it. has anyone had this problem. or does anyone know what we might be doing wrong?. thanks!
with a Targus universal 32 in 1 card reader/ writer in windows XP it should be fine 1st be sure u have a programe like photoshop elements or editing suite. 2nd insert the XD CARD 3rd automatically windows should find the data on the Xd Card; and then your photo editing suite will attempt to transfer the data instantly to be edited. Happy Xmas! Win XP - should not normally need drivers for that type of thing.
you might have the memory card upside down, (grin) done that more than once.
