if i just plug the connector to the computer and stay 30 feet away from it does it work or do i have to do something to the ds for it to work b/c i didnt need to use a connector at my dad's house, they just reprogramed it and i got to go online b/c they have a wireless router. my mom doeswnt have any wireless routers so do i need that to go wifi or can i just plug the connector and go wifi
You plug the connector in your PC and follow the install instructions. When you start a DS WiFi game, you have to tell the game, that you want to connect to the WiFi Connector and you're done.
