I'm not sure I'm interpreting your question correctly, but here's what I think you're asking If you give your computer the same IP address as another computer on the network, this will generate an IP conflict. Both your computer and the other machine will lose networking, and if you're running Windows you'll get a message informing you of an IP conflict.
