Question:

Theres a noise near the CV axle what can it be?

So I recently changed the cv axle in my car because it was broken and because it was making a noise. I assumed it was the axle and replaced it. The thing is after putting the new one, I realized the noise was still there and I don‘t know what it is. You can hear it near the transmission and in every rotation of the cv axle you can hear like steel having friction with other piece. What can it be? I‘M REALLY FRUSTRATED! Btw it is a mitsubishi eclipse 2001 GS 4 cylinders automatic transmission.

Answer:

What can it be? I recently changed the cv axle. All the axle train parts or just the shaft? If the boots were cracked open it all got ground up real good as the grease flew out and the dirt went in. Go ask a mechanic. He will tell you in about 9 seconds and it's all free. Then you can ask for a free written estimateor not. If by I recently changed you mean had it changed, as in mechanic changed it, then take it back.
Replace the hub/bearing assembly on the side that's making the noise.
Well I never heard of metal grinding together by the transmission. But the way its sound is like you may have a wheel bearing problem. Wheel bearings make growling noises depending on the condition. Try looking there first. Also a little FYI CV axles make bad clacking noises when ever you make sharp turn then eventually it will get so bad its on every turn. To check them lift the front end put it in neutral and put one hand at the top of the tire and the other one at the bottom. Check for play ,should not move maybe just about a 1/8 of an inch. Or have it lifted and put it in drive and let it coast and listen for the noise. Good luck.
