Okay. Here's the deal:Got 4 new Tires and Alignment in August.Car Runs GREAT.UNTILI Had my Tires Rotated Yesterday (Way over due I know)Now Car feels like it's pulling to the right.Could this be uneven wear on the tires and the pull will lessen as the tread gets used to the rotationOR do I need an alignment again?
Heres the skinny. and you said it yourself, you waited too long to rotate the tires and it is the tire wear what is causing the problem. I did the same thing. We live and learn.
First of all, any car has a recommended air pressure to run front and back and they are almost always different. Did you adjust the air pressure to the correct amount after rotating the tires? I would start there. Most likely the reason. They nay be out of balance too. Most tire places will re balance for free so that would be the next thing I try. The recommended air pressure should be in the drivers door jam and that's the pressure to run no matter what size you have. It's by vehicle weight so stick with it.
It could be uneven tire wear, but it could also be a defective tire. When the tires were installed, you could have had a bad tire installed at the rear. It may have been balanced fine and look good, but you would not know until it was installed on the front that there is a problem. I worked in a tire shop years ago, and we called this radial tire pull. The there may be a defect in the belts inside the tire causing it to pull to one side. Swap the front tires side to side to see if the pull goes away or pulls to the opposite side. It is probably a defective tire on the right side now. If your tires have a warranty, try to have that one replaced.
