i recently discovered that for frogging/topwater bass baits i need braided line, i plan on getting the orra sx (as stated in my last 53894750394876 questions hahahaha) and originally wanted a veritas, but since braided line has no strech and the veritas is such a stiff rod, i have a feeling i could easily damage the veritas. so what is a good rod for braided line? i have felt the berkley lightning shock rod and it seems to be a little less stiff than others, would this make a good braided line/topwater rod? or would the daiwa aird or another rod that i dont know about suit me better? (this is my first baitcaster by the way).
If the homeless shelter receives any federal funds - it is against the law. If the homeless shelter is run by a state, county or city, it is against the law. If it is a place of public accommodation (not run by a church) it is against the law. In nearly every circumstance it is against the law. That being said, that are virtually no shelters that are accessible to people with any kind of disability. The Red Cross refused many people with disabilities in their shelters during Katrina, or if they did not refuse, did not provide them with the bare minimum of accommodations. So although you have my sympathies - this is an enormous problem, well documented, and yet it continues. Not much anyone can do as an individual - it is a systemic problem with no solution in sight.
Well, it sounds like an employee made a complaint to the district manager. At that point, he had to fire your manager because: 1) The company could have been sued by employees or customers who felt sexually harassed. 2) You said that some employees felt resentful about favoritism. Resentment leads to a bad atmosphere Employees don't try as hard because they suspect they won't be rewarded fairly. Employees start defying the boss and that can cause sales to decrease. Your former manager COULD file a lawsuit for wrongful termination, but if there are other employees who can testify that she created a sexual atmosphere, then she won't win. It is hard for people who have done nothing wrong to win a wrongful termination suit. Unfortunately, sometimes we become so comfortable with certain people at work that we forget that close relationships with people can lead to favoritism or conversation that is too graphic for customers and coworkers. Part of being a manager is knowing the boundarieswhat is OK and what is not OK. A manager's job is to keep things running smoothly, so if your manager was creating a bad atmosphere that annoyed some people, then the reality is that she was not capable of doing her job. My advice is that your former manager should learn from this and look for another job rather than waste her time on fighting an expensive and long lawsuit that she probably won't win. Good luck.
I didn't read this novel. I will say this: Should has no place in your vocabulary.Shoulds do not exist. By law, your co-workers could have filed harassment charges, long ago. It is very hard to prove, but it hurts the manager's and store's reputation. By law, she can file for wrongful termination. She will probably not get it, because her company can respond. The whole sordid atmosphere can come out on paper. NOt fun. He didn't have to fire her, but he CAN and did. She needs to keep her private life private and work at work. It makes for a hostile workplace to do otherwise, whether she is gay or straight or both. YOU need to work at work. If your workplace is sexual, hostile, degrading, LOUD or dangerous FILE a complaint - after you have talked to your boss and given him the opportuinty to fix it. If he fires you for complaining, YOU can get wrongful termination and back pay. Meanwhile, mind your own beeswax.
i guess its up to them whether to fire her or not, not much you can do about it
